Multiple visits to assess needs and familiarize the projects

In an effort to follow up on the needs of the people in Daraa Governorate and to review some of the projects that are being completed, a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross, accompanied by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, carried out field trips in several areas in the countryside of Daraa.

Visits details

The ICRC delegation visits, which lasted over several days, aimed to identify the electrical energy needs in Busra Al-Sham Hospital to work on securing a generator for it later, in addition to following up the projects implemented in Ghasim, such as the concrete water tank that feeds the Ghasm area with potable water, in addition to visit a high water reservoir needs to be rehabilitated, assess its needs, and review the requirements of the two water stations of Kahil Busra and Kahil Al Thawra.


In the livelihood’s field, the delegation supervised the distribution of the feed grant in Busra al-Sham and assessed the needs of this city and the villages of Samej and al-Sumaqiyat, while listening to the people to know about the grants that could be provided by the International Committee of the Red Cross in the future.
