1 min read

SARC Rural Damascus Mobile Clinics exert progressive efforts  in health services in order to reach all patients in the remote areas via four mobile clinics that pay daily visits.

In September 2016, the mobile clinic visited 30 areas in Rural Damascus (Al Dumayer, Al Kisweh, Hafeer Al Tahta, Karahta, Al Ghezlania, Sednaya, Al Herjale, Ashrafiat Sehnaya, Al Adlia, Tall Maskan and Jdaidet Artoz) and other areas.

In this context, the manager of SARC  Medical Center in Rural Damascus assured that the Mobile Clinics services are very important for the patients who suffer in far areas, and he encouraged the medical staff to continue their great job.

It’s worth to mention that 3865 cases received the necessary treatment during September and the cases varied between chronic diseases, pressure and diabetes, asthma, respiratory infections, acute enteritis in addition to anemia and malnutrition.

Each mobile clinic has a staff of a doctor, a nurse and a psychosocial supporter volunteer who work all together to provide proper treatments and medicines for patients.  These medicines range between kids medicine, analgesic and anti-inflammatory , antiseptics and chronic diseases ones.
