A report of relief team’s work during august 2016

SARC  Rural Damascus Branch addresses basic living materials and relief services for thousands of arrivals and affected families in Rural Damascus areas every month.
In this side the Relief coordinator in SARC Rural Damascus branch mentioned that one and a half million person get benefited from the periodical distribution cycle relief services (each three months).
He also clarified the numbers of materials which were distributed by SARC Rural Damascus sub-branches during last August: (111469 food parcels, 49149 blankets, 23284 mattresses, 16196 hygiene parcels and 6203 kitchen parcels) in addition to other items like flour, bread and clothes for 564110 people monthly.
Field response coordinator in SARC Rural Damascus branch confirmed that a lot of these relief aids were delivered into hard to reach areas, and helped the most vulnerable people to secure their basic life needs.
