First aid squads’ work is a crucial part in disasters response; therefor SARC-Swaida Branch dedicated its fifth course this year on principles in disasters management for 25 first aiders, so they can fully meet their humanitarian duty in time of disasters. During the five-day course, the volunteers received the information of the basics on how to respond to disasters in accordance with its phases and nature, the information was given according to the new curriculum of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The course concluded on Sunday 2-12-2018. To be mentioned, this training course was supported by the British Red Cross.
