Good health and adequate healthcare access, are fundamental human rights that SARC makes every effort to guarantee for everyone; specially children, as they are the most vulnerable, and protecting their physical and mental health is highly important.

The six-year-old Celine, suffered serious second-degree burns after hot water fell on her body. The little girl had severe pain that made her mother rush her to the dispensary.

Regular medical review

Every two days, Celine visits the dispensary of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Swaida with her mother to get the bandages changed. Today, 70% of her burns are healed; thanks to the efforts of the medical team who provided her with integrated nursing services over the course of 6 sessions, and will continue to help her until she reaches full recovery.

The delivered medical services

The dispensary provides free medication and health services throughout the week, through a pharmacy and five clinics of various specialties (internal medicine- gynecology – pediatrics – ophthalmology – malnutrition).

The medical teams continue to provide health care services to meet the needs of the patients, in addition spreading health education
