“Modern ways of preparing reports” a workshop that gathered 20 volunteers from all the departments of the Rural Damascus
Authentic reporting is an essential step in assessing humanitarian work, to identify errors and correct them. Therefore, mastering the modern methods of dealing with data, managing them, and converting them into reports is an urgent necessity for improving the quality of humanitarian work.
Continuous training for workers
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), Rural Damascus Branch, held a workshop on data management and reporting, from 8 to 10 December 2020, in order to implement the newly learnt concepts when preparing the annual reports for this year.
Realistic data and practical analysis
During the workshop, all participants acquired new skills in collecting, processing, analyzing and presenting data. They also became familiar with the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and the information management systems, thanks to the specialized trainers, with the support of the German Red Cross.
