Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP) carried out the humanitarian relief aid airdrop round No (100) in Deir Ezzour city. This round brings the airdrops total to 1700 MT of the following relief aid: rice, beans, lentil, borgoul, homos, sugar, salt and cooking oil supported by WFP along with 4.6 MT of medical materials and medicines supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and 33 MT of the ghee and tomato bulb supported by ICRC.
It is worth to mention that SARC – Deir Ezzour branch collected, transported and distributed the dropped relief aid to the people in need there who total to 110,000 persons in cooperation with the Relief sub-committee in Deir Ezzour. SARC will keeps on carrying out these operations in order to help the affected people there.
