First Aid Committee in Aleppo branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent continues on promoting first aid knowledge through frequent training courses. In this context, SARC – Aleppo finished two “First Aid Principles” courses to 50 volunteers.

The training was to explain the first aider characteristics, general principles in first aid, right acting steps and how to help causalities with  bleeding, wounds, fractures, burns. It also concentrated on artificial breathing (AB) and Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques. The concluding sessions were to highlight the origin of the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent and performing first aid maneuvers.

The mentioned two courses came into a new-volunteers-full-training plan. Four first aid courses will be carried out throughout three months according to the plan.
