During the first half of 2017, SARC periodically delivered about 1,886,370 free bread bag in many areas in and around Damascus like (Yalda, Babila, Beit Sahem, Al-dwer Sheltering center, Al-Baja’a and Al-Dimas). In addition, bread was delivered on urgent responses to Barzeh, Al-Qaboun, Yarmouk camp, Madaya and Wadi Barada. The total number of beneficiaries reached to 100.000 people.
As a side noteworthy SARC monitor the bread production process in order to ensure the high quality.
It is worth to mention that the bread project is supported by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) .
