With an aim to mobilize abilities and build capacities of volunteers to test the quality of water, SARC – Aleppo water and sanitation team held a workshop on testing water quality. The workshop involved giving instructions on how to test the microbial content of water using Luminometer hygiene machine, which is supported by WHO, as well as discussing specifications of drinking water. The workshop was followed by field trips to boreholes in several areas of Aleppo to use the testing machine.
