In fulfillment of their humanitarian duty to stand by people and to alleviate their suffering, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers, after 5 weeks of distribution, completed the delivery of 10250 hygiene kits to families in two areas within Daraa Governorate, as part of their efforts to help families prevent Coronavirus.
What did the distribution include.. and what are the contents of the kit?
After the continuous work of the volunteers during the past month and the beginning of this month, 10250 returning and affected families in the areas of Daraa Al-Balad and Al-Yadudah received a hygiene kits that included the following items: (washing liquid, washing powder, soap), with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Previous distribution and 23,500 beneficiary families
The third quarter of this year witnessed a wide distribution of similar hygiene kits, as part of the response that aims to effectively contribute in protecting the people in Daraa from the threat of the spread of Covid-19 among them. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross, distributed 23,500 hygiene kits to families of the following cities and towns in Daraa countryside: (Al-Lajat, Busr Al-Harir, Malihat Al-Atash, al-Sheikh Maskin, Al-Nasiriyah, Khirbet Ghazaleh and Namer).
