Within the framework of the psycho-social support project, the consultancy center launched “the magic shop” activity that targeted 15 children. The activity is aimed to enable the children identifying his negative and positive feelings, and how to eliminate the negative feeling and boost the positive one. SARC Aleppo PSS team and mobile teams supported by Danish Red Cross continued their children-targeting activities. “The Front Page” activity which targeted 45 adolescents in Sina School was among the mentioned activities. It is aimed to introduce the various types of the media like visual, audible , written press… etc and the main differences between them. Yesterday, 9 Feb 2015, and through Bustan AlQasr – AlMashrqa Humanitarian Crossing_Point, SARC Aleppo health care team delivered 1750 ampules of oxytocin and 150 vials of anti-D (Rhesus) immunoglobulin to a number of OB-GYN #hospitals in AlMa’adi and AlSha’ar in east part of Aleppo city. Delivered medications will help provide more safe and complication-free births. The team also delivered 1300 ampules of #adrenaline to the #Pediatric Center responding to the prevalence of bronchiolitis in infants under the age of 4 months as inhaling adrenaline helps relieve the severity of illness. Despite the bad weather, SARC Aleppo health care and field intervention teams accompanied with an ICRC team delivered a collection of health equipment including wheelchairs and crutches to east part of Aleppo city. Yesterday, they also delivered the same kind of equipment to SARC sub-branch in AlSafira and Palestinian Red Crescent Society branch in Aleppo. This equipment will be distributed to the most vulnerable groups and play an important role in providing needed health aids to about 1000 patients.
