Aimed to improve volunteers’ skills on aspects of treating special needs’ people and their families, SARC – Aleppo Counseling Center for Psycho-social Support held a workshop under the title “It is Only the Beginning”. The workshop dealt with treating people with disabilities and how to integrate with them in gathering sessions that help them adapt with daily habits and make new friends as well as allowing volunteers acquire the needed skills to deal with the special needs people, respect their personal space with no discrimination and appreciate their effectiveness in society.
