The Medical Services Department of SARC in cooperation with UNFPA and in collaboration with Y-Peers held a training workshop about “Peers Education under Humanitarian Conditions” on 30/11/2018.
The six-day training aimed to develop the skills of the participants and build their capacities to be promoted as TOT peers education in health fields (productive health, sexual health and healthy behavior). In addition, they have been supported with information to promote health-enhancing change among their peers and the know-how to use the TOT peer education manual.
The training highlighted different concepts and civil social norms (gender-based violence, Adolescence age, sexually transmitted diseases, family planning, stigma and discrimination).
