In the framework of SARC – Aleppo’s plan to train local community, first aid committee held two courses on principles of first aid for volunteers of the Armenian Society and the Humanitarian Support Project during the last week. They talked about many subject regarding first aid and aimed to spread first aid culture through continuous training and qualifying courses. Each course discussed main subjects such as characteristics of first aider, handling wounds, bleedings, fractures and burns, proper acting steps, artificial respiration and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation as well as giving a summary on the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
It is mention worthy that since 2012 and up to the first half of 2016 SARC – Aleppo has trained 6855 trainees from different institutes (university students, NGOs and various assemblies) on principles of first aid.
