Due to the current hard circumstances in Al-Hassakeh city, many families were forced out of their homes to safer neighborhoods in the city and to Al-Qamishli, Amouda, Al-Dirbasieh and Tel-Tamer areas. Therefore, The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) responded immediately and started evaluating the sheltering centers (49 centers) in the mentioned areas. Then, SARC’s water teams distributed 4800 water bottle to 2600 beneficiaries and installed four central water tanks (500 liter) in Sffaia area.
The Hygiene promotion team also distributed 121 hygiene kits to about 726 displaced people with 460 child among them in the sheltering centers in Al-Qamishli city.
