Syrian Arab Red Crescent Held a Meeting with the Humanitarian Partners

The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC)  organization held a meeting with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC)  Societies, and the National Societies of the Red Cross and Red Crescent on Oct 11th 2015.

The meeting was headed by, Dr. Abdul Rahman Attar the president of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and attended by representatives of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the National Societies (Sweden Red Cross, German Red Cross, British Red Cross, Canadian Red Cross, Norwegian Red Cross and Danish Red Cross).

During the meeting, Dr. Attar shed light to the major role played by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in responding to the humanitarian needs in Syria during the current crisis. He concentrates on SARC’s exerted efforts to reach the most vulnerable people all over the country. The meeting included also a presentation on SARC’s activities during the first half of the year, and a discussion on ways of collaboration enhancement.
