The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) and in cooperation with the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross(ICRC) managed to deliver the second convoy of the humanitarian relief & medical aid to Madaya town in rural Damascus and to Kefraya and Foua towns in Idleb governorate.
The convoy to Madaya is composed of 45 trucks loaded with (flour, wintery clothes for children, school bags, blankets, soap and washing powder). The entered quantities are sufficient for 40000 people. Moreover, SARC medical team accompanied the convoy.
The convoy to Kefraya and Foua is composed of 18 trucks loaded with the same items, which are sufficient to 20000 people.
It is worth mentioning that this 2 day response was carried out by the exerted efforts of more than 200 volunteers of SARC’s branches (Damascus, Rural Damascus, Homs, Idleb, Lattakia and Hama)
