The Syrian Arab Red Crescent in cooperation with the British Red Cross held a training workshop about the Geographic Information System on 30/11- 3/12/2018.
The workshop brought together 33 coordinators, who work in the central operation management, the disaster management unit and field coordinators all over SARC’ branches.
The workshop involved many topics related to the main principles of the GIS, data resources and reports and table processing. It was concluded with a practical session where a comprehensive data project designed based on the gained skills during the workshop.
