SARC-Homs hygiene promotion team carries on its activities in Homs countryside sheltering centers and Al-Waer area. 1774 people benefited from the activities in Al-Waer.
Through SARC-Homs hygiene promotion team’s activities, children realized the importance of handwashing and how it protects them from diseases, and ladies realized the importance of “safety waste disposal, purifying water at home, contagion diseases such as lice and scabies and personal and public hygiene behaviors”.
It is worth mentioning that SARC-Homs hygiene promotion project is a joint project between SARC and UNICEF.
