On the occasion of the International Day of People with Disability, SARC-Aleppo Counseling Center for Psychosocial Support held an activity for people with special needs who periodically visit the center.
The activity included various types of games (kinetic, lyrical, educational and handicraft) as well as distributing gifts. The center also honored Yasser Sabouni, the special needs boy who received gold, silver and bronze medals in swimming in the eighth Special Olympics of Middle East and North Africa.
Since 2013, SARC Counseling Center has supported the special needs who suffer from Down’s syndrome, autism, mental retardation or hypoxia. It has also supported their families with purposeful periodic activities.
