The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in corporation with UN agencies, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the international Federation of the Red Cross (ICRC) and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has delivered two aid convoys to Madaya and Kefraya/Foua on Monday 11/1/2016
The aid convoy to Madaya has been delivered using 44 trucks and contained 7800 food parcels enough for 40,000 people, babies food, pregnant women special nutrition, high energy food (peanut butter and high energy biscuits), medical supplies, various medicines and 20,000 blankets
The aid convoy to Kefraya/Foua has been delivered using 21 trucks and contained 4000 food parcels enough for 20,000 people, babies food, pregnant women special nutrition, high energy food (peanut butter and high energy biscuits), medical supplies, various medicines and 10,000 blankets
One hundred and forty volunteers from the branches of Damascus, Rural Damascus, Homs, Hama, Latakia, Edleb and Tartous participated in loading unloading and delivery of the aid to its destinations.
