It was a kind of destiny for Lylas (10 years) to lose her finger and get a tendon cutting in the right hand two years ago. However, she insisted to overcome this handicap and draw her future through engaging two-months treatment in the Syrian Arab Red Crescent physical therapy center. “My left hand did not allow me to present special drawings like the right hand,” she said during her therapy session at the center.
In addition to these sessions in Jaramana, the mobile medical team treats some cases at home and distributes crutches, wheelchairs and other medical items that supported by the Finnish Red Cross.
