Since Aleppo still suffers from lack of water and electricity, people are more and more depending on boreholes that are run by diesel as sources of water. SARC – Aleppo water and sanitation team in collaboration with ICRC have installed 112 solar panels to operate the pump of Aleppo Collage’s borehole, which provides more than 100.000 liters’ storage capacity.
This alternative energy project will make water reachable for 10000 beneficiaries in Al-Etha’a, Saif Al-dawla and Al-Ansari.
