Maintenance work on Sulaiman Al-Halabi is complete. It involved repairing Al-Shaikh Najjar’s intake line, which is of 700 mm diameter in the second purification station and replacing a large proportion of Al-Haidariya’s water ejector line, which is of 500 mm in the second purification station.
Maintenance works on Sulaiman Al-Halabi’s water lines were supervised by SARC – Aleppo volunteers and engineers with support from ICRC. They were conducted during water cessation to make benefit from it as they normally require a full or partial shutdown of the stations. All the previously mentioned was carried out after crossing frontlines and coordinating with all parties and service bodies on the ground.
