“Whom I Love” psycho-social support sessions for children suffering from cancer and renal failure
Psycho-social Support Volunteers of mobile teams supported by (SARC – UNICEF) Psycho-social Support joint project in cooperation ith Aleppo University Hospital to hold PSS activities for children suffering from cancer or renal in its pediatric department.
The activity, which was under the title “Whom I Love”, characterized with distributing colored heat-shaped pieces of papers to 33 children participating in the activity. Children were asked write letters to people they love in order for them to integrate and connect with the surrounding. Volunteers also visited children in isolation rooms who are unable to participate with others in the activity.
