To serve the affected families and secure their water needs, an irrigation project was launched on Sunday 3/1/2016 to provide more than 10665 beneficiaries with clean water in (Jdaidet Artoz, Jdaidet Al Fadel, Al Ghezlania, Al Sa’ade, Um Al Awaed, Jub Al Safa) areas.
The total distributed quantity reached 217 m3 daily, where they provided 25 water tanks with 6 m3 capacity to (Al Sa’ada and Um Al Awaed) areas, and supplied the families with 2000 water gallons.
It’s worth mentioning that this project is accomplished by SARC’s Rural Damascus Branch water and sanitation team in cooperation with Première Urgence Internationale (PU).
