In the middle of Hasakeh city, the schools have witnessed an increase in students number, where SARC’ Water and construction team launched a hygiene awareness campaign. It included different educational activities of hands washing, personal hygiene and lice prevention.
During the one month campaign, supported by IMC, SARC volunteers distributed 30.000 soap bars, 3000 anti-lice spray and 6500 anti-lice shampoo. They also provided the schools with 190 hygiene kits that contains brooms, trash cans and shovels.
