The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) started a humanitarian response to Foua’a & Kiffrya in Rural Edlib and Madaya & Zabadani in Rural Damascus. The response involved delivering 53 trucks loaded with relief items to Madaya & Zabadani, and 18 trucks to Foa’a & Kiffrya. It is worth noting that 14 out of the 18 mentioned trucks are to be dilevered from Turkey in cooperation with the UN Offices and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The relief items, which contain food, non-food, medicals and flour, will cover the needs of 40.000 people in Madaya & Zabadani, as well as 20.000 people in Foa’a & Kiffrya.
