SARC – Aleppo responds to the a recently displaced people movement due to tense situation in Aleppo city. In this context, health_promotion team has urgently responded to the displaced in Al-Shuhadaa Park by distributing 74 mosquito nets, supported by Oxfam, and 455 garbage bags, supported by UNICEF, with an aim to prevent insects’ borne diseases such as leishmaniasis. 60 families included 321 individuals benefited from this intervention. It is worth to mention that health promotion program is carried out in collaboration with UNICEF.
