The continuous water outages along with waves of displacement in Aleppo city have force families to reside in under-rehabilitated places and use unsafe water. SARC – Aleppo health promotion team has stepped up to help the families sheltering in the park of Leishmania Center in Al-Furqan to eliminate the spread of diarrheal diseases. The team has held awareness raising sessions and distributed water purifying tablets and oral rehydration mineral sachets to beneficiaries. It is worth to mention that health promotion program is carried out in collaboration with UNICEF.
