On  April 16th the SARC’s  mobile health care team accompanied with the ICRC delegation had been to AlZakim village on a checking mission. The  team check ed the work of the health care team and the services  provided to the beneficiaries in the countryside. 222 patients were treated in the three clinics.

Health care team continues its regular visits to reach more areas in the countryside and to help children and women suffering from cold weather problems, synchronizing with the liver diseases.
The mobile clinics visited 15 areas in Homs and treated 3202 cases.
Children suffer from malnutrition and most of age-group people suffer from tonsillitis in the internal and pediatric clinics.
ICRC gynecological clinic treated 517 cases.
ICRC pediatric clinic treated 1114 cases.
IFRC internal clinic treated 1571 cases.

Health survey team, which is subordinate to the health care team in the Disaster Management Committee, registered medicine needs and carried out health survey for the patients in the far countryside or in the sheltering centers.
The team visited 46 areas and distributed chronic medicines to 3325 beneficiaries.
However, the team couldn’t distribute medicine to other 689 beneficiaries due to the over registered  beneficiaries and the lack of medicine in March.
