Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) started on a new medical service by providing children, who suffer sight problems, with colored glasses. This service carries beneficial medication and entertainment as it helps the children (under 14) whose families couldn’t afford treatment expenses to improve their sight and enjoy putting on the colored glasses.
120 children benefited from the service in August 2017 through SARC clinics in Jaramana, Dwaela’a and Al-Tall areas. Moreover, SARC, in cooperation with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), exerts more efforts to provide the service at all SARC clinics.
