Organizational context (where the job is located in the Organization)

 

Job purpose

To manage the daily operational activities of the Emergency Medical Services unit, ensuring the effective execution of field activities and the coordination of resources and personnel. This role contributes to achieving the unit’s objectives in accordance with the technical standards and guidelines issued by the Unit Manager

 

Job duties and responsibilities

· Oversee the implementation of operational plans and daily activities for ambulance teams. · Coordinate ambulance deployment and emergency responses in collaboration with branches. · Monitor the performance of field personnel and identify operational needs. · Monitor the budget for training courses. · Audit paramedics’ compensation claims and coordinate with the finance department regarding them. · Follow up on incoming and outgoing mail from the organization’s branches concerning the ambulance unit. · Ensure the availability of operational resources (vehicles, equipment, fuel, etc.). · Follow up on maintenance and logistical preparations for the ambulance fleet and medical equipment. · Support administrative operations related to personnel and procurement within the unit. · Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports and submit them to the Unit Manager. · Coordinate with logistical partners and supporting entities to facilitate activity implementation

Position Requirements

Education and Training Required Preferred

· University degree in Business Administration, Health Management,

Emergency Medical Services, or a related field X

Experience Required Preferred

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management,

medical services, or humanitarian work X

· High-level skills in organization, planning, and time management X

· Ability to work under pressure and in rapidly changing

environments X

· Proficiency in Arabic and a very good command of English X

 

Knowledge and Skills Required Preferred

· Problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex situations. X

· Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office programs (Word,

Excel, PowerPoint). X

· Commitment to humanitarian principles and the code of conduct. X

· Willingness to work outside official working hours and in

exceptional circumstances when needed. X
