Due to the stressed situations prevailed recently in Al Quaryatayn and Hawwarin areas in the Homs eastern countryside, 2802 people were forced out their homes to safer areas.
On the eve of the 5th of August 2015, SARC-Homs Disaster Management Committee teams responded to the displaced families and provided them with canned food parcels, food parcels, kitchen kits, high energy biscuits, peanut butter, jerry can, gynecological emergency kit, tarpaulin, blankets and sleeping mats.
The mobile health units of SARC-Homs health care team checked 252 cases in Al Hamrat area and provided them with the needed medicine.
It is worth mentioning that the distributed items were supported by “ICRC, IFRC, UNICEF and DRC).
