Under the framework of joint water project between the SARC and the ICRC, the SARC water team of Deir Ezzor branch in cooperation with Water Establishment conducted an emergency repair for 700mm water line in al-Wasat street in Deir Ezzor governorate.
Approximately 200,000 people benefit from this line which supports many areas in Deir Ezzor city.
The SARC facilitated and provided logistical support to local water board’s workers in addition; the SARC obtained a ceasefire for two days which in turn secured safe access to the maintenance area which is a clashes area.
