On the 28 of July, which is marked as the World Hepatitis Day, SARC Homs branch launched educational sessions on the mentioned disease . Although hepatitis is one of the most infectious and serious diseases, a lot of people are unaware of its terrible effects on their health.
SARC-Homs Disaster Management Teams, the health awareness team and hygiene promotion team held educational sessions explaining the different kinds of hepatitis, its indications, how to avoid it and the treatment. The one week sessions targeted 148 beneficiaries in areas of Aljdaida Alsharqya, Ain Al Khadra and Bab Tadmour.
