In cooperation with ICRC and UN offices, SARC-Homs relief team delivered the first stage of relief aid convoy, which consisted of “36 trucks” of food and non-food items to Talbisah on Tuesday 27th of April 2016. 25 volunteers of SARC-Homs took part in this mission that lasted for more than 19 hours.
The relief items were provided by ICRC, UN offices, WFP, WHO, UNICEF ,IOM , UNHCR and UNFPA.
It is worth mentioning that the food items will meet the needs of about 12000 families for a month.
