SARC – Aleppo hygiene promotion team and mobile medical team resumed awareness campaigns on lice cases as it scores high among children. The campaign targeted mothers and children in 1070 Apartments Area, Al-Hamdaniya to educate them on lice symptom, treatment and prevention.
The campaign also raised awareness on diarrhea as symptoms’ diseases as well as means of precautions. A total of 1305 women benefitted from the awareness sessions in which 1864 bottle of lice treatment shampoo and sachets of oral rehydration salts (ORS) enough for 6912 were distributed. It is worth mentioning that hygiene promotion activities are carried out in cooperation with UNICEF.
