In an effort to enhance the hygiene behaviors of persons with disabilities, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent volunteers completed the process of distributing 1000 hygiene kits for the prevention of COVID-19, within the areas of Daraa Al-Balad and Tafas, as the kits included the following materials: (chlorine, soap, washing powder, shampoo, tissues, toilet paper, ground wipe, surfaces wipe), with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The Corona pandemic is not over yet and the response continues
The distribution of hygiene kits comes as part of a plan aimed at creating a safe environment for people with disabilities and their families with the acceleration of the spread of the virus. noting that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent response also includes families of various segments and ages through awareness sessions on the importance of hand washing and following other precautionary measures in addtion to the distribution of soap on them.

Previously, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent provided 1,000 hygiene kits in order to ensure continuous support for people with disabilities to prevent them from the threat of the emerging virus, as the distribution included the following areas in the eastern countryside of Daraa: (Nahtah, Busr al-Harir, Alma, Khirbet Ghazaleh and Al-Herak), with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
