On a two-day-visit, Aleppo branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC– Aleppo) received Ms. Wendy McCance, the British Red Cross (BRC) country cluster manager of Syria and Lebanon, along with members of Beirut office and SARC HQ.
The meeting discussed the positive role of SARC – Aleppo in meeting various humanitarian needs, and the effort excreted by volunteers to reach the most vulnerable. It stressed the Importance of the continuous capacity development of volunteers.
The delegation also paid field visits to the relief points in Hanano and Tal Refaat with an aim to have a closer look at the humanitarian needs of the affected people there. The tour was concluded with a visit to the psychosocial support center in Al-Bayada, which is under rehabilitation, and meetings with some volunteers.
