The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) is an independent humanitarian organisation of public utility, is permanent and continuous, and has a legal entity and enjoys financial and administrative independence.
SARC was founded in 1942 according to the decrees No/540/ 1942 and No/117/ 1966 which regulate the Organisation’s work. It was recognized by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva (ICRC) in 1946, and is committed to upholding the Geneva Conventions and the seven Fundamental Principles of the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies.

Job purpose:
Under the direction of the IT Manager, the major job responsibility of the incumbent is to provide necessary support in the current working applications or other systems.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Undergo a detailed study of the existing system and recommend installation or upgrade of a new system
- Interact with staff about the application’s status and solve their technical issues if any.
- Installing various software systems.
- Provide training to the users regarding any upgraded systems.
- Building and monitoring data replication to ensure operations according to the specifications.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or another related field
- Minimum of one year in SQL Server
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to make difficult concepts easy to understand.
- SQL Server
- Very Good in English skills, oral and written.
