In a puppet theater, the simple dialogue between the star character (Riri) and her mother was good enough to raise awareness on the proper way to wash hands, and its importance to maintaining public health, to the children at the Social Welfare Home in Swaida.
The puppet theater was one of the activities the health promotion team at SARC Swaida Branch organized to celebrate Global Handwashing Day.
40 children at the Social Welfare Home participated in the entertaining competitions held by the team to make sure that the children receive the information through entertainment and practical application. At the end of the activities, the team distributed soaps and towels to the participants where they enjoyed taking memorial photos with the title (make hand washing a habit).
