The joy of this family living in Qnawat Village reflects the aim of the home gardens project where the land surrounding their house will become a source of self-sufficiency. The project launched by livelihoods team at SARC-Swaida branch in cooperation with ICRC includes a distribution of agricultural equipment, fertilizer and winter vegetable seeds such as (beans – peas – spinach – parsley – cabbage) for the displaced and affected families in Swaida.
The home gardens project is designed to cover 1500 families in 19 villages.
