Mr. Eng. Khaled Hboubati, President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), received Mr. Elhadj As Sy, the General Secretary of the International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at SARC- HQ, where they discussed many subjects related to the cooperation mechanism between SARC and IFRC.
Later on the day, Mr. As Sy and Mr. Hboubati met Mr. Waleed Al-Moualem, Syria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and discussed how to facilitate the humanitarian missions carried out by SARC and supported by IFRC.
It is worth to mention that Mr. As Sy had visited some the livelihood projects, which are launched by SARC in cooperation with the IFRC, like “Sheep project” in Homs and “Handmade Carpet Vocational Training project” in Al-Qoutaifa area in Rural Damascus.
