The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in cooperation with UN Offices had humanitarian aid convoy entered into Daraya town in Rural Damascus on Thursday, June 09, 2016.
The convoy (9 trucks) was loaded with 480 food parcels, 960 flour bags, nutrients, hygiene items and educational sets.
In addition, in the beginning of the same month, SARC had entered the same area with humanitarian relief aid convoy (5 trucks). These trucks were loaded with medical items and medicines supported by the UN Offices and the ICRC, and baby milk supported by the German Red Cross. In the same time, SARC medical teams in cooperation with Damascus Health Directorate carried out a vaccination campaign there that targeted 108 children with routine vaccines and 30 women with tetanus vaccine.
