On World Tuberculosis Day – March 24th, health promotion team held a training workshop on tuberculosis for its volunteers in SARC – Aleppo branch and Al-Safira sub-branch prior to launching a campaign on tuberculosis targeting the crowded sheltering centers. The workshop provided information on the infection, means of the transmission, vulnerable groups, clinical types as well as treatment. It also discussed the importance of continuing the treatment course, the vaccine and ways of avoidance.
It is mention worthy that the health promotion program is carried out with support from UNICEF.
