1 min read

Given the the huge efforts exerted by  SARC-Homs projects that are supported by the humanitarian partnerships, a Norwegian Red Cross delegation, headed by the Norwegian Red Cross President, Mr. Sven Mollekleiv, and accompanied by SARC water and sanitary coordinator, Mr. Firas Farras, visited SARC-Homs branch on 22nd of November.
During the visit, they met Dr. Motaz Al-Atassi, the Head of Board of directors, and discussed with him SARC-Homs branch’s role of responding to the humanitarian needs and the importance of their joint efforts to reach the most vulnerable people. Then they visited SARC-Homs Disaster Management Committee and watched a presentation of its most important responses during 2015.
At the end, they paid a field visit to Homs old city where they met some beneficiaries of SARC-Homs’ services such as rehabilitation, restoration, water and sanitation and other services provided to returned families who live in a sheltering center.
