On March 29, the SARC teams in collaboration with the United Nations offices in Syria resumed its second convoy to reach Douma city, which has been besieged since 18 months.
The convoy consisting of 14 trucks loaded with 1,000 food parcels, 2,821 hygiene kits, 1,000 baby diapers, 1,008 sanitary napkins, 2,000 plastic rolls, 80 boxes of soap, 40 boxes of peanut butter, 80 boxes of high energy biscuit, 177 bottles, 0.5 (Reproductive health) RH kit 2A to be used by the pregnant woman and one (Reproductive health) RH kit 2B to be used by the Midwife.
The SARC appreciates the support of all parties on the ground in which the SARC volunteers have been granted the facilitation they need to distribute desperately needed relief aid to people in Douma.
This aid delivered is enough for 5,000 people and the SARC hope to reach more number of people with the next coming missions as there are much more people in need for help in Douma city.
