Due to the increasing need to rehabilitate the affected houses for beneficiaries and to upgrade shelters, SARC- Homs sheltering team held a workshop about “sheltering kit” in the second week of August. 53 volunteers of SARC-Homs disaster management attended the workshop that lasted for two days, and provided them with theoretical information and practical training about assessing affected buildings and installing sheltering kits. It is worth mentioning that this workshop is held through SARC-Homs disaster management committee’s plan of training and qualifying volunteers.
